The year 2006 part2
Right, continuing from yesterday.
July: Went to Italy for the first time. Only the northern part this time, but it was nice.
August: Cannot recall any particular event on this month. I must have been working hard, or just hardly working. What else, Ah, went to climb a moutain in North Kanto. First time in...10 years or something.
September: Same as the previous month. Played footy once per week as well. Got a bit sharp with the ball control, just joy to be able to play.
October: Went to see the Pogues for the first time in 19 years! Dancing and jumping but mostly mobbed in the overpacked crowd, really exhausiting but it was just fantastic to see that Shane is still alive. At work, things started to cook a bit and got another research grant. The actual amount was as not so much perhaps but really helped my self esteem. A certain collaboration went really well. Quite happy about that. And on the booze side, found out that I can buy Cynar in Japan.
November: My old macintosh could not hack it any more after 5 years of service, became rather slow and noisy, so we had to get a new MacBook. Pretty cool, we named it Stephen.
December: Rather hectic but played footy as usual, went to 3 bo-nen-kai (End-of-the-year parties). Listening to the Killers in my car all the time.
....and here I am in France for the rest of the year and a bit.
